And built into solid words,

And fly in the mass of birds?

Could I keep the colours from bleeding in,
When I wipe the blood from my chin?

Counting the days to the next kill.

The weight be lightened on my chest?
When I close my eyes in silence,
Asking for God to stop the violence...

Our feet aching form the run,
And melt in each others arms,

Avoiding failure, but you can't choose,

I once was perfect but now am detroyed!
I realize I was used and abused,
And treated as toy!
I feel worthless now...
Because I can't figure out life!

SacraficeThe meaning of sacrafice
It's something not everyone takes too lightly
Why did a soldier die for his officers?
Why did a mother die to protect her child?

It's something that everyone looks at everyone and wonders
Who would throw their own life on the line for a bunch of meat?
Who would throw down everything they have to see others get more?
To some people it just doesn't make any sense

But see it from a soldier's perspective
See it from the side that actually fights day in and day out
Rather it be in the mountains or in a neutral country
Day in and day out; sacrafices are made to the lions

The meaning of sacrafice
From a soldier's perspect

Regrets Will KillI walked so many miles across this sea
And the pity really got the very best of me
I drown, the icy water flowing into my soul
I try to grasp it but I fall hard and lose control

It's scary just how I lost it right here
I'm followed by the constant sound of fear
Right behind me, Right behind my back
I feel it breathing into my neck

Whispering secrets I don't really want to know
Pulling and pushing, 'till I'm buried six feet below
I can't seem to keep myself from bleeding
And of my pain the fear seems to be feeding

I am so infinitely tired and sick of all
It'll be a silent good bye, now that I fall
Don't get me wrong, I won't just die like

I am only happy when I cry.I am only happy when I cry.
I can only smile through the tears.
I can only laugh between shaky breaths.
I can only dance in the rain.

Trust too much and fall too hard.
Take everything to heart.
Knives, swords,
Sometimes even in my back.

I put on a mask for everyone who looks.
A mask of a happy, bubbly girl
Without a care in the world.
The mask comes off when my door closes.

My dam bursts when the mask comes off.
My smile comes out when my tears stain my cheeks.
I laugh for real when I taste salt.
I am only happy when I cry.

I've been living off pain for a few years now.
It's sick and twisted.
I never cried.
Not even at funerals.

The Beauty of DeathDeath is something I fear.

And yet I find it ever so enchanting...

Yet words so full of grace and beauty.

They call me a madman.

But what is there to chide about?
I find death beautiful--I find it amazing.
There really is no reason, at me, to shout
Yet those who see me praise this glorious work

They insist that I am insane.

But death is something they should not fear!
Death is life, and life is death.
Without death, life cannot draw near
And without life, death cannot exist.

Decay Along the Beaten Path

What if...?
The time carries on, by and by
languid, lethargic, and seemingly lacking...
No rest for the working man,
has made my limbs weak and brittle.
No push lies against my back,
no pull of my feet along the given path.
Mr. Sandman, repay me my memory in full.
This lack of alleviation makes me to be some sort of fool.
A heart so torn as to my mind, many lacerations...
Though the scars are back home,
where left I, my soul.
Hindered, the mindless drone before you,
as I understand not even my own actions.
Be this change or some phase,
I wish it to end,
as I grow weary of this
over sized bump in the road.

One Day It'll Make SenseI hope that one day it'll all make sense,

But until then I'm stuck living in the past-tense,

This isn't my choice, it's against my will,

Because I can't tell my brain how to feel,

They say we grow from our life experiences,

But I'm struggling to do that, in all seriousness,

People tell me that I have a beautiful skill,

That I can make one feel my mind by words that are real,

But lately I find it to be more of a burden,

Thoughts that I can't stop from turning,

One day...I hope not so far away,

I just may...actually make it, to their dismay.

I Survived SuicideTalking to him on the phone I heard him cry
A silent tear slips down my cheek
I can't feel this for him... no matter how much I love him
Why am I doing this???

I take the knife and slice up my wrists
A call comes in
I reach for the phone
One last word with the man I love.

He begs me to stop
He says he'll never leave
He reminds me of the good times
And what we could be
The kids we'll have
The life we'll leave

I struggle to stand
And stop the blood
I let out a cry as the pain sears through me
As I fight for conciousness
As I fight for life

Now four months later
I look at the scars
The darkest ones the run up my arms

Turn On The Dark

When fragile hopes and fears collide
It waits for you on the other side

I can feel the tremors in my soul
I've grown afraid of the masquerade.
Barely holding on, I'm losing control
Wide awake, I confide in the shade.

Sinking so slowly down the drain
Much like the purple pill I swallow.
A voice unheard is a voice in vane
Black rain falls and teardrop's follow.

Shadows loom throughout the room
They cover my eyes like a veil.
Just flip the switch, it'll be over soon
Just pull the curtain over the pale.

The transition rattles my psyche at first
Yet it's a feeling I've always invited.
For when my body becomes submersed
I discover

One DayOne day I'll be dead and gone,
But you will keep your head up strong,
You'll let the rain pelt on your back,
Don't let it throw you off your track,

Keep your focus on your prize,
And into power you will rise,
Hold firm in what you know and love,
The truth will hold you high above,

Take the road that seems to rough,
And call the devil on his bluff,
Seize control of scattered thoughts,
Then out will shine the golden plots,

March in time to the pipers tune,
Keep going under the silver moon,
From conflict and war you shall not flee,
Remember this and you'll be free.

Against Her SkinThe zipper is too cold against her skin,
While the inside is like down,
Too soft for a girl like her,
And she knows she should lose it all,

Before it comes back to take her again,
Away to that place in the darkness,
That only she can follow it to,
Because it only exists for her,

Mindless faces wearing their masks,
And going on their way,
She knows she is different from them,
For that reason she cannot join,

The cold seeps into her skin like fire,
Burning it's way inside and out,
Back into her lost soul,
Where the emptiness bows its head,

Hurt her because she can't stop herself,
From running away once again,

A thousand times I walked along this line
Dreaming of the other side
So far away, yet next to me
A strange new land
Full of possibility

A million times I wondered why
I had now wings to spread and fly
Until I found them inside my mind
Finding freedom hiding in my soul
Accepting the necessity of lost control

I wonder now, could it change
If I changed in time?
If I gave up fear and just crossed the line
To explore the unknown land
Instead of wondering what might be...

Do you think I'd open up and see?

I'm tired of hiding my curiosity
It feels wrong to deny this side of me
I want to know who I might be
If I open my eyes to see

I believe, oh I believe
That time will change us all
I believe we will have to fall
We'll have to die
To be alive

And all the little pieces
All the shatters of my past
Will fall into place
Like tears from my face
Into a brand new life
A life I will proudly lead
